(Image from source)

The TARGet Kids! study is one of two studies aiming to help shed light on the role of children in driving the transmission of the coronavirus. The study plans to enroll 1,000 families by mailing swabs to families, which parents will use to swab themselves and their children. The returned swabs will be tested for COVID-19.

Two hundred and fifty (250) families have already received their swabs. The goal is that results from the studies will be useful in informing policy on the safe reopening of schools and daycares.
